Booklist Program 2020

Dear Parents/Carers,

The Lorne P-12 College booklist supplier is OfficeMax for 2020. For a fast, simple and secure way to place your order online visit: www.officemaxschools.com.au and complete the four steps displayed on the enclosed OfficeMax document. Please note all Booklist orders will be sent to the address provided by you when you submit the order.

Delivery to Parent (2019/2020 School Year only)

Orders will be delivered to your nominated addresses in 2019 or 2020 depending on when the order is placed.

Deadlines and delivery information.

Home delivery:

Delivery Fees:

Free Delivery: for orders placed on or before 1st December 2019;

$12.95 delivery: for orders placed after 1st December 2019.

Orders Placed:

On or before 1st December 2019 will be delivered prior to the end of December 2019;

On or before 31st December 2019 will be delivered before the start of Term 1 2020;

Please Note: For orders placed after 31st December 2019, we cannot guarantee delivery prior to Term 1

Australia Post

Orders are delivered via Australia Post’s eParcel service. As soon as your order is dispatched an email will be sent to let you know the Australia Post tracking ID Number. Your order can be tracked at auspost.com.au.

Note: PO Box addresses are not accepted by Australia Post.

Prep to Year 8 Information

All text and stationary items in Years Prep to eight are compulsory and contain the basic requirements for your child in their year level as selected by their teacher’s. If you choose to purchase items from other providers it is essential for your child’s successful education to purchase items exactly as listed on the booklist e.g. width of lines in exercise books, size and HB of pencils, etc. Your child will need all the required items, labelled, on the first day of school 2020.

Year 5-10 Information

Education Perfect

Education Perfect – Education Perfect is a digital educational platform used by more than 1,000 schools around the world. Currently, Education Perfect offers resources in Languages, Science, Maths, English and Humanities. Education Perfect will be used by our classroom teachers to enhance learning and differentiation in the classroom. Education Perfect has been trialled in 2019 at the College and the program will be fully implemented for 2020.

Year 7 and 8 Information

Please note that for next year, Year 7 & 8 will be taught in separate classes for core subjects.

There is one change in the Technology rotation with Music replacing Digital Technology.

Year 9 and Year 10 information

All Core and Elective Subjects are shown below. All text and stationery items in Years 9 to 10 are compulsory for core subjects and for the electives students have chosen. If you choose to purchase items from other providers it is essential for your child’s successful education to purchase items exactly as listed on the booklist. Your child will need all required items, labelled, on the first day of school 2020.

Year 11 and Year 12 Information

All Year 11 and Year 12 subjects are selected by the students. All items listed below each chosen subject are compulsory and essential to the student requirements. If you or your child has, any questions please feel free to ring the office on (03)5289 1585 and confirm their subject selections for 2020.

Edrolo

Edrolo is a compulsory program for a number of Year 11 and 12 subjects. Subjects which use Edrolo are listed in the booklist and are payable to the college. Edrolo is an online resource designed to provide students with engaging, informative and comprehensive presentations to help them understand and learn all they need to know for their exams. When students are at various levels of understanding, Edrolo can really help to ensure that students do their best during these vital years. With comprehensive and engaging video lectures, supported by worked examples from past exams and interactive quizzes, we can help students understand, clarify and revise the content that teachers cover in the classroom.
