Otway Lifesaving Carnival

Sports Report

On Friday 30th November, students from Grade 5/6 and Kiara McKerron from Yr. 8 travelled to Apollo Bay for the Otway Lifesaving carnival.

The theme behind the day is participation for all students who try their hands at beach and water events such as beach sprints, flags, board paddles, ocean swims and wade relays.

The conditions were ideal for the students to get involved in all of the events and it was a fantastic day to connect with the Apollo Bay students in a fun and inclusive environment. The events were run by the senior students from Apollo Bay P-12 College along with the talented staff at the school using the resources of the surf lifesaving club. The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all students and thank you to Annie McMahon and Jake who assisted on the day.
