The Year 10 students participated in a reflective yoga practise as part of their Health and Physical Education curriculum. We were lucky enough to visit Surf Coast Yoga at Bells Beach. In a fast paced world with high expectations and little time to reflect, the class took the opportunity to learn more about self-awareness and the health and wellbeing benefits of mindfulness.

Ross and Ros have been practicing Yoga for many years and were able to inspire and guide our students through movement patterns, breathing techniques, conscious awareness of self and reflective practices. All skills that help maintain our mind and body.

Students were challenged and engaged and floated back to school after the session. If you haven’t taken the opportunity to visit the amazing studio set up there, it is well worth your time.
