Years 9/10 Football and Netball Day

On Thursday 23rd of May, selected students from Years 9/10 travelled to Colac to compete in the Coastal Region Football and Netball day. With the assistance of Mr Bird and Juna Hack as helpers, our students combined with Apollo Bay and Lavers Hill to create The Otway Football team. The team had some strong players in the mix and put up two good shows against Trinity and Colac.

Secondary College but didn’t manage to have a win on the day but worked beautifully as a team and had two great games of football.

The netball side also joined forces with Lavers Hills to create a team that worked well under pressure. The team worked very well together to move around the positions to suit the opponents and had 3 close games including a draw.

A great day out in the sunshine in Colac and was great to see our students working with our Cluster schools in combination teams to add strength to our football and netball sides.
